Karen Cohen aka “blockmum” is the Founder and Director of Emerging Tech Talent, a company that helps humans connect to Emerging Technology and provides outsourced Human Resources services to small to medium businesses.

Passionate about building communities, she is the Founder of Women in Emerging Tech and the Chair for Blockchain Committee for Australian Computer Society, ACS.

Previous roles include Deputy Chair for Blockchain Australia. Community Champion for Algorand Foundation and Program Manager for AlgoHUB, the virtual Blockchain Developers Hub. She is the 2021 winner of the Lift Off Awards for Diversity and Inclusion Tech Leader and Blockies Community Leader 2022.
